Dog training found me by necessity. After losing more than one security deposit to my dog, Chuck, and trying anything I could find online to train my dog, I knew I needed professional help. Finding a technique that worked was difficult. Chuck and I floundered through through 3 different trainers with different techniques, and none of them made sense to either of us. Finally discovering one that did changed our lives. We went from imprisoned by Chuck’s unpredictable behavior, to the freedom of being able to go anywhere together.

In 2018, I quit my job to become a professional dog trainer, and I spent 5 years learning and refining my skills under the guidance of other trainers. Since then, I have been training dogs and owners in Texas using tried and true methods and incorporating modern behavioral science. This combination gives owners the tools and knowledge they need to help their dogs thrive!

People warned me about my dog, Todd, before I adopted him. I spent all my spare time trying to engage with him, but his behavior severly limited what he could do, and we both felt trapped. I could see the potential for an amazing companion, but I didn’t have the tools or knowledge to help Todd get there. Through training, not only have we built an unbreakable bond, now I have a fun-loving best friend that I can take anywhere!

I witnessed firsthand the benefits that professional dog training provided for both my dog and me, and it inspired me to dedicate myself to helping others find the same. I quit my job as a Chef and went back to school to learn how to teach owners how to train their own dogs. A well-trained dog opens up an amazing lifestyle, and sharing this with others has been the most rewarding experience of my life; I look forward to helping you on your journey!
